Reading the pages
There are no accounts, no forms that send anything, and no comments. The pages set no cookies of their own and load no analytics or advertising scripts; the typefaces are served from the site itself. Cloudflare, which delivers the site, may set a cookie it uses to tell people from automated traffic.
The roof permit lookup downloads a copy of the City's public permit list to your browser and searches it there. The address you type is not sent to this site or anyone else.
The server keeps standard request logs: the network address a request came from, the time, the page, the referring page, the response code and the browser's identification string. They are used to keep the site running and secure, and are not sold or shared for marketing.
Calling the number
A call to the number on these pages runs through a call-tracking service and is connected to an independent roofing contractor, or to a company that schedules visits for one. Calls may be recorded. The people you speak to receive your phone number and whatever you tell them, and handle it under their own policies.
Roofs Philadelphia may receive reports about calls placed from its pages, such as the time and length of a call, because that is how the site is paid.

The site is written for adults. It is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
